The Duke Climate Commitment

The launch of the Commitment was not the start of Duke's work to help understand and address environmental issues - that went back to it's founding - but it was a call for everyone to come together to face the new challenges.

The work

I was embedded in the strategic leadership to get the Commitment "off the ground". The primary objectives were staying on message, on brand, and reaching everyone in our community: in Durham; in NC and across the world.

My role

As my primary role is in digital comms I directed the the web site and other digital presentation. But the range of work included writing and editing site content, articles and newsletter, capture and multimedia assistance, event preparation and facilitation, and community engagement.

Between late summer of 2022 and early summer of 2023 I most likely hand a hand in creating it.
